A DC DC Charger is the right way to do this. Your two battery banks are totally different in size and chemistry and so if you attempt to charge them from a single charge source one of them will get short changed. At PKYS we sell the full range of Victron DC DC Chargers. Take your alternator to one bank and then use the DC DC Charger to take some of that power to the second bank.
