The Mk2 USB interface is now outdated and no longer supported. The upgrade to the Mk3 was a relatively small upgrade but it was quite a few years ago. It might still work, it certainly won't hurt to try, but there are no guarantees. Unfortunately I don't have one around to try it out for you. Please let us know how you get on.
