Could you explain "bi-directional" in the context of the Orion XS 1400? Victron Orion XS 1400 DC-DC battery charger Battery to Battery Chargers

Are you using this term in the same context as the Cyrix which can charge Starter to House and House to Starter (I don't think so) or in some other context? Could you elaborate? Thank You.

The Orion XS 1400 only operates in one direction, it has a defined IN and OUT. It is programmable as far as voltage is concerned so it can go from 12 volts to 24, or from 24 volts to 12, or anything in between.
