The Ekrano supplies a signal to turn on, and the signal goes away when it wants to turn off the generator. Its a very simple basic output. There are only a very few generators that can handle this kind of signal without additional equipment because starting a generator is more complicated that that. Many have a glowplug that has to be on first, then there has to be a procedure for what happens if it doesn't start first time, etc. An intermediate control box is required that handles this connection between the basic on off signal from the Ekrano and the kind of input required by the generator.
One manufacturer of this kind of control box is Atkinson Electronics. They have multiple models so just call them up with the generator model and specs and they will recommend one for it. They provide wiring diagrams specific to the generator. The module usually gets installed at the generator control panel.
