These Blue Sea breakers can be used as both switches and circuit breakers. If you need both switching and circuit protection in one this is a good option. Not all circuits need to be switched, if you don't need switching then a fuse is usually cheaper. As the loads get bigger circuit breakers become exponentially more expensive so for anything over 200 amps it becomes impossible or overly expensive to use a circuit breaker.
