In theory the Orion can be used in parallel but in practice its not so easy to make it work. It has an analogue adjustment so its not too precise, and yet you need to try and tweak them to put out the exact voltage under load. In addition all the wiring has to be identical on both the input and output so they experience exactly the same load and get exactly the same power and voltage. As I say, this is possible in theory. I think you are better off to split your loads into groups and give each their own converter. We have a 100 amp model and other manufacturers have bigger versions of the same thing.
Your alternator is relatively small compared to the load you are putting on the system so if you crank up the volume you probably will be using more power than the alternator is making, which means you will be depleting the battery. You need to get some actual numbers to do any better calculation. How much power does your system actually use, and how much power does your alternator actually make in real life conditions.
