Relative advantages of having an LFP battery BMS integrated into the battery, or separate? Victron BAT512120610 Smart Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery 12.8V 200 Ahr Older generation Lithium Smart Batteries

It would seem to me that having the BMS as a separate component rather than integrated into the battery would be advantageous. If the BMS fails, it could be more easily replaced rather than having to remove an entire battery for return to the manufacturer. Is this a significant advantage?
