Yes, you can leave your Victron inverter/charger on all the time. Victron inverters are designed to be efficient and reliable, even when operating continuously. However, if you are not connected to a external power source the Quattro will consume power all the time even if you are not using it. Because of this it makes sense to turn it off when its not needed.
If you need to keep the Quattro on all the time there are two programming options that you can use to minimize the power consumption when not in use. These are covered in our Blog post and video. The options are known as AES for (automatic economy switch) and you will find these in the Inverter tab of the programming menu.
