Yes, if you want to send NMEA 2000 data to and from your Cerbo GX you need to use this cable. For more information, please see the Cerbo GX manual section 15. Marine MFD integration by NMEA 2000.
I want to use SignalK functionality on the CerboGX and Garmin 8616's. Which is the best cable for that? Victron Energy ASS030520200 VE.Can to NMEA2000 Cable
It seems that Ethernet can send NMEA to the Garmin's but not receive it? Is that correct? I believe I need the VE to NMEA2000 cable?
