The fuse itself is NOT ignition protected but when used with the Blue Sea Systems SafetyHub family of products the entire assembly of fuse and fuse block is ignition protected as long as the cover is correctly closed.
The single fuse holder that provides ignition protection is the Blue Sea Systems 7720 Safety Fuse Block for AMI or MIDI fuses
The Blue Sea 7725 Fuse Block Safety Hub 100 is also ignition protected and accommodates three of these fuses and the Blue Sea 7748 Safety Hub 150 Fuse Block accommodates four MIDI fuses.
