The Victron DC DC Charger is capable of delivering an independently programmable three stage charge to a destination battery. This means the battery can be a considerably different size or chemistry. It works with lithium or conventional batteries. It can if needed charge the destination battery to a higher voltage than the source battery. The Duo Charge does not give an independently programmable charge, it merely mimics the program of the source battery. It cant be used with Lithium batteries, and the voltage deelivered will always be less than the source battery. Because more and more people are switching to Lithium the Duo Charge is used less and less these days.
