The drive shaft size is 17mm, making it compatible with Balmar pulley conversion kits. A 17mm drive shaft is an industry standard for small to medium alternators so you should be able to fit a wide variety of pulleys on this alternator. The shaft is not keyed and the pulley is attached with a nut and lock washer.
