This alternator comes with a small diameter K6 pulley. The K6 pulley is a multi-groove belt pulley that offers improved grip and reduces slippage, which is ideal for high-output alternators and demanding applications. The alternator is only supplied this way, but because the shaft is an industry standard 17mm shaft found on most small and medium alternators it is relatively easy to swap out the pulley.
