This model requires a multi-groove serpentine belt (J10 type) with 10 grooves. This is intended to be used with the Balmar AltMount® serpentine pulley conversion kits. These pulley kits are available for many marine engines and convert the original Single V pulley to a multi groove arrangement suitable for larger alternators.
