Yes, it's fully compatible with lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries, including Victron's own NG series, as well as other brands. It also works with AGM, gel, and flooded lead-acid batteries. For lithium, enable the "lithium mode" in settings to adjust charge profiles and avoid overvoltage. A Mk3 USB interface is required for programming. The procedure is described in our Blog Post on Programming. Users report seamless integration with 600+ Ah banks. This is a big inverter charger so you just need to make sure that your battery bank can sustain the load that would be demanded. The recommended circuit protection for the Quattro 12/5000 is 800 amps although the actual current flow at its full rating would be considerably smaller than that.
