The Balmar 60-100-SV Alternator comes with a single deep vee pulley designed for 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch wide V-belts, supporting up to 100 amps on a single belt. Premium belts like Gates Green Stripe are recommended for optimal performance and longevity. This is the largest alternator that can be supported with a single V belt and for full output you need a 1/2" belt. If your V belt is only 3/8" you will need to dial down the output of the alternator in the regulator programming menu.
