These chargers use an adaptive 6-stage algorithm for lead-acid/AGM/gel batteries (bulk, absorption, recondition, float, storage, refresh) and a 3-stage algorithm for lithium (LiFePO4 or Li-ion) batteries. The "storage" mode reduces float voltage periodically to minimize gassing and extend battery life. All settings are fully programmable via the VictronConnect app over Bluetooth.
