Get your Cerbo GX (or other GX device) online with a WiFi or wired internet connection.
Check for firmware updates before proceeding
Go to Settings in the menu and take note of your VRM Portal ID
In a web browser go to vrm.victronenergy.com and register for a VRM account. You will have to verify your email to complete this step.
Go to ADD INSTALLATION, select your device (in this case a Cerbo GX), enter your portal ID

The above is the minimum required to get yourself online. For full access there are quite a few other steps you have to take. The full text of how to do this is on our Blog Post Setting up your Cerbo GX to work on the Victron VRM.

Once you are set up you can add users. Sharing your VRM site is just for read only access, if you need a technician to help you troubleshoot you will have to invite them as a full user with admin privileges.
