The 60-YP-MC-120-J10 alternator and regulator kit is a high-performance charging kit for marine engines, not just a single part. It's designed to replace a boat's original, lower-output alternator with a heavy-duty system that can rapidly and safely charge large house battery banks.
The kit includes three main components:
- The Alternator (60-120-J10): A 6-Series, 12-volt, 120-amp alternator fitted with a J10 pulley
- The Regulator (MC-618-H): An external, "smart" multi-stage voltage regulator.
- The Sensors: Temperature sensors for both the alternator and the battery bank
