The main purpose of the Victron VM-3P75CT Energy Meter is to accurately measure AC power and energy flow in a single-, split- or three-phase electrical system. It is specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with a Victron GX device (like the Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX) to provide critical data for system control and monitoring. It is most commonly installed at the main grid connection point (the distribution box) in a Victron ESS (Energy Storage System) to act as the Grid Meter. This allows the Victron system to know exactly how much power is being imported from or exported to the utility grid. However even if you dont have an ESS system this device has wider applications and it can be used in any Victron system that has a connection to shore power or a generator.
