The Ancor 270105 NMEA 2000 Female Data Terminator is a small but absolutely essential component for the proper operation of any NMEA 2000 network on a boat or in a vehicle. It provides the necessary termination resistance for one end of an NMEA 2000 network backbone. It prevents data signal reflections, which would otherwise scramble the data and cause network communication failures between your marine devices. The NMEA 2000 standard is designed for universal compatibility. The Ancor 270105 is NMEA 2000 Approved and will work seamlessly with components from all other certified manufacturers. At PKYS we use this terminator in our Arco Zeus alternator regulators where it terminates the VE CAN connection to the Cerbo GX.
