At PKYS we sell alternators by Arco and Balmar. Except for a few specialty models with clutch pulleys the Arco alternators all come with the standard small diameter K6 pulley. If you want a special pulley you have to order that separately. If you ask us in the order notes at checkout we can fit it to the alternator for you. Here are the Arco ones we sell, these all fit a 17mm shaft.
With Balmar alternators if you want a standard SV (single V), DV (double V), K6 or J10 pulley you can order the alternator to come that way and there is no extra charge. You also can order a special K6 pulley for Yanmar Common Rail that way. If you want some other pulley you have to pay for that separately and you can ask us to fit it for you if required. In addition Balmar 6 series and XT series can use any of the Arco pulleys. Below are the more common pulley requests we get, these are all ones that have to be paid for separately.
There are quite a few other specialty Balmar pulleys, you can see the complete list here. The Balmar 96 series alternators either come with K6 or K8 pulleys already installed and these cannot be swapped out because the alternator shaft is too short for our standard pulleys.
