The alternator kit delivers a nominal 170 Amps of output, which is significantly higher than most small case alternators. The actual output depends on rpm and temperature. When hot and at 4500 alternator rpm it puts out 160 Amps. One of the features of this alternator is its low rpm cut in. It can put 120 amps when hot and turning at only 2000 alternator rpm.
