I don't see any issues using a MultiPlus 12/1200 as part of a UPS for a freezer, but you will need to ensure everything is properly sized. You will need to check the model number plate of your freezer for the starting and running amps. Compare those numbers with the peak and continuous output of the MultiPlus 12/1200. The next step is to figure out battery bank size. The MultiPlus manual recommends a battery bank between 150-700 Ah. You will need to figure out how long you want to power the freezer and size the battery bank accordingly.
