The numbers represent the maximum limits of the controller:
- The first number is the maximum PV open-circuit voltage (VOC). For a 100/30 model, the solar panel voltage (added together if in series) must never exceed 100V. PKYS recommends staying at least 10% below this limit because on occasion the panel can put out a higher voltage that its rated VOC.
- The second number is the maximum charge current to the battery. A 100/30 model can deliver up to 30 Amps of charging current
