No. A transformer can adapt voltage (e.g., 230V to 115V), but it cannot change the frequency. If you are taking a 60Hz US boat to 50Hz Europe, a transformer alone won’t fix frequency issues for sensitive motors or clocks; you would need a frequency converter. Frequency converters are prohibitively expensive and not appropriate for small boats.
