It is the industry standard for protecting large inverters and battery banks, especially lithium battery banks. If you are installing a high-power system with lithium batteries, most manufacturers require a Class T fuse to maintain the warranty and ensure safety. A Class T fuse is also an ABYC requirement in most cases.
