Standard converters (like the basic Orion 24/12 series) provide a fixed output (e.g., 13.2V) and can "buffer charge" a battery to keep it topped off. However, for proper 3-stage charging (Bulk, Absorption, Float), you should look at the Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Chargers instead.
